On Sunday, April 10, Scottie Scheffler won the 2022 Masters golf tournament, finishing at -10 under par. The tournament was held at Augusta National Golf Club, a prestigious golf course in Augusta, Georgia; it is regarded as the most beautiful golf course in the world.

Legendary golfer Tiger Woods somehow managed to play in the tournament, despite a devastating car crash in February 2021 where his right foot and leg were severely damaged and he could have lost his life. Over a year later, he managed to return for the most important tournament of the year, the Masters. Amazingly, he made the cut, but finished #47, at +13 over par.

The tournament is one of four major tournaments every year, but it is the most prestigious and talked about tournament of the year. The winner of the tournament gets the green jacket, a check for her $2 million, as well as an invite back to the Masters for every year after that.
