Malala Yousafzai and Her Many Accomplishments

Malala Yousafzai is a young girl who spoke up for other girls just like her, and faced the impossible. Today, we wrote an article about her story and honor what she has accomplished and the barriers she faced.

Malala was born in Pakistan, and she had a good childhood, until the Taliban took over. The Taliban’s official definition is “The Taliban, which also refers to itself by the name of its state, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, is a Deobandi-Pashtun Islamic fundamentalist, militant Islamist, and jihadist political movement in Afghanistan.” The Taliban said that girls are no longer allowed to go to school. However, Malala wasn’t going to stand around and let her education be taken from her and other girls.

Malala made speeches and spoke about how girls also deserved education. However, because of her brave acts, the Taliban decided to do a horrible deed. One day when Malala was on a bus, a member of the Taliban boarded it and shot Malala.

Luckily, Malala recovered, and she and her family decided to move to the United Kingdom. Even in the United Kingdom, Malala continues to fight on behalf of girl’s education, and she also established the Malala Fund. It’s a fund meant to help girls from all over the world receive the education they deserve. “Malala Fund is working for a world where every girl can learn and lead.” Not only that, Malala won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.

Malala went to Oxford University and graduated, and she continues to speak out even today, at the time we are writing this article. Malala shows the story that anyone can speak out and fight for the causes they believe in and make a difference in the world. Start speaking out today for the causes you care about and you can make an impact on our world!
