After six long months of waiting, the NBA Playoffs are set, with the Miami Heat as the top team in the East with a 53-29 record and the Phoenix Suns leading the West with an incredible 64-18 record. The Suns have dominated the year all year, led by Devin Booker and Paul George.

The playoffs are set to kick off this weekend, and many people are excited about it. Creighton Black, 8, says, “I love the NBA Playoffs more than I love my family.” He also says, “I am very excited, especially as I think the [Dallas Mavericks] will win in the first round.”

Dallas’s very own Dallas Mavericks have earned a 4 seed in the West, with them being only one game behind the 3 seed, Golden State Warriors. They are up 3-2 in their first round series against the Jazz.
