The most well-known electric car company, Tesla, has made something brand new, the Cyber Truck. The Cyber Truck hasn’t officially been released into the market yet, but another electric car company, Rivian, has released a brand new type of elective vehicle, a pickup truck.

The world’s first official electric pickup truck, the Rivian R1T, is coming on the market with an MSRP of $69,000-$100,000, a 0-60 in 3 seconds flat, and a range of 230-400 miles. This truck’s tarp is released and folded with just a push of the button, has more than three storage compartments located all around the truck, and a towing capacity similar to the Ford F-150.

It is a fully electric truck and currently has three different models. The R1T 105, R1T 135, and the R1T180. Each model has its own battery capacity, the 105 having a 230 mile range, the 135 with a 300 mile range, and the 180 with a 400 mile range.

Currently, the truck has not been released, but there have been thousands of preorders which will start being shipped out at the end of the year.
