Los Angeles Raiders Head Coach, Jon Gruden, resigned from the position Monday, October 11, after tons of his offensive emails resurfaced.

A decent amount of the emails that were sent were directed to NFL commission Roger Goodell. He called him a series of insults, including a homophobic slur.

He said in a statement Monday night; “I love the Raiders, and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

“But my concern is about the legion of enablers who supported Gruden all these years,” said William Rhoden, writer for The Undefeated.
