On February 7th, 2021, Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Superbowl. This is the first time a Super Bowl team (Buccaneers) played on their home field. Tom Brady quarterbacked his 10th Super Bowl, but this time he’s playing for the Buccaneers. As for star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, he aimed to win his second Super Bowl.

“I think the Chiefs will win because they have Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce. They also have great chemistry because they won last year. I just don’t think the Buccaneers can beat them,” said Henry Filmore, 7.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of offensive weapons. It will take great defense to stop Mahomes. Andy Reid, the Kansas City Chiefs head coach, is a great play-caller. It will be tough to stop their offense and try to keep up with scoring. It’s most likely going to be a great game and definitely a Superbowl to remember.

“I think that the Bucs will win because when Tom Brady was with the Patriots, they went almost every year. They have Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski,” said Ayden Polonet, 7.

Tom Brady, a six-time Superbowl champion along with Rob Gronkowski, a three-time Superbowl champion, will be unstoppable according to WSMS students.

“I think the Buccaneers will win because they have Tom Brady. I’ve supported Tom Brady for a long time. When he moved to the Bucs, I followed him and became a Bucs fan,” said Ryan Burns, 7.

At the end of the game, Tom Brady won his 7th Super Bowl, and the game wasn’t even close. The Buccaneers didn’t even let Patrick Mahomes score a signal touchdown. The Buccaneers controlled the Chiefs the entire game making them only score 9 points, winning the Super Bowl, and making history.
