Star Wars has been in the world for decades and has brought in many fans. This famous film franchise has been a delight to many viewers.

Star Wars is a fictional universe with a variety of species. The Jedi are the protectors of the universe and wield a weapon known as a lightsaber, a kyber crystal-powered energy sword. Other protectors are many other species, but most of them are known as the clone troopers.

“I’m a fan of Star Wars because I think it’s cool.” Joey Farkas, seventh-grader, said.

George built his own company and called it Lucas films. He directed his first movie in 1973 called American Graffiti.

Star Wars’ first movie is now known as episode four, A New Hope. The Empire Strikes Back was next. Then, the Return of the Jedi. George then, however, made a prequel to the saga, and made what is now known as the Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith.

The saga has brought in millions of fans and is extremely popular. In a turn of events, Lucas sold the renowned Star Wars saga to Disney. Disney filmed episode seven of the saga, The Force Awakens, and introduced an episode known as three and a half, Rogue One, a story taken place in between episodes three and four.

Disney has announced that they will strive to get a Star Wars movie every year. There have so far been eight Star Wars episodes through the saga.

“My favorite Star Wars movie is Rouge One because it has the best battles in the saga.” Farkas said.
